Pet Portraits...

I absolutely loved painting this beautiful dog Pippa. I didn't realise Pet Portraits would be so enjoyable. It was really nice trying to reproduce her character in this piece. It was also rewarding working from my own reference photos. That's something I have always had as a goal.

Pippa is painted using Acrylics on pre-primed thick Canvas.

I have a pet cat painting to do next and am looking forward to doing many more fur babies.
