Hi Everyone!
It feels great to be back in my studio after realizing I hadn't posted a blog or video for 6 months! Where did the time go?!
We had a nice holiday and are now in the process of moving and building, so I apologize for delays with my posts... life happens :)
I thought I'd post a photo of my current project. I won't tell you what it is just yet, but I can tell you it's done on Fabriano Artistico 300gsm Hot pressed extra white watercolour paper, and I am using Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils. The technique I am using is coloured pencil blended with solvent.
I can't wait to start on my subject in this one. I love the look of a blurry background with a sharp detailed subject. It just pops out from the background.
I hope to have this done in a week or so, and will have a nice long video (step by step) how I completed this piece.
Bye for now!
