Acorn Artworks has been forever evolving and active for over 20 years, producing many different types of art and creations over these years.

I have a background in Sign making, Screen Printing, Embroidery, Design, Mural painting, Canvas painting, Illustration, Woodwork and sewing Toys.

 I am not currently making Signs, but I have included a page for Oakwood Sign Company which is the name for the signage and textile side of Acorn Artworks.

I have really enjoyed the challenge of producing Pet Portraits. I have been lucky to meet a few of these pets and take my own reference photos to work from.

Gathering reference material has been an adventure all of it's own... I absolutely adore the outdoors and really enjoy immersing in to nature. I spend a lot of time hiking, and often find myself out in the forest far longer than intended. I love finding the miniscule worlds within our own that are often overlooked and unnoticed.

I have ended up with enough reference material for life! Nothing is more satisfying that producing art from your own references. In saying that, I have a lot of art on here that was clearly not from my own references.

I have developed a love for photography and also sell a bit of what I have captured here on my site as well as in our AirBnb on our property.
